Sodexo is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Health & Safety to support our Healthcare and Seniors operations for the Southern region. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive health, safety, and injury-prevention programs to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will conduct safety audits, lead incident investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide ongoing training to our leadership teams. Strong knowledge of healthcare safety standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive a proactive safety culture are essential. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about safety compliance in a healthcare setting and have the flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time.
What You'll Do
Lead the development and execution of health and safety policies, procedures, and programs;
Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective actions are implemented;
Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis;
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations;
Provide coaching and guidance to managers and frontline teams on safety best practices;
Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare regular reports for leadership;
Coordinate training programs to promote safety awareness and safe work behaviors; and
Drive a culture of proactive hazard prevention and continuous improvement.
