Responsibilities
- Assists with the bid list for a project including creation, outreach, and interest generation
- Assists in processing bid documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements from Project Manual through bid supplements
- Participates in pre-bid conferences; attends scope review meetings and write minutes
- Assists with preparing and entering contracts to ensure compliance with contract and project requirements
- Assists in tracking and monitoring the Diverse Owned Small Business (DOSB) utilization process and identify risk areas
- Assists in maintaining Purchase and Award Schedule
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar technical field
- 1-3 years of purchasing and/or construction experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and company platforms
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors and outside representatives
- Ability to comprehend drawings, specifications, scopes of work, bids, and all other part of a bid package
- Ability to maintain procurement records and reports
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.
For Connecticut, this ranges from $67,100.00-$83,800.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
