Job Summary
Position Title: Patient Advocate SpecialistPosition Summary: This role is based in Bronx, New YorkWe’re seeking a motivated and compassionate individual for a hybrid role that blends business development with patient engagement to support the expansion of our interventional psychiatry services in partnership with mental health practices. These cutting-edge treatments offer life-changing support to patients with serious mental illness.
As the Business Development Lead, you’ll play a critical role in growing our clinical partnerships and patient base. You'll build referral relationships with healthcare providers, communicate the value of our services to prospective patients, and support them through their treatment journey with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, goal-oriented, and thrives in a performance-driven environment. A background in sales or business development, coupled with a genuine passion for patient care and advocacy, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Practice Growth Responsibilities
- Develop and execute growth plans for target clinics.
- Identify and engage patient referral sources, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, therapists, payors, and hospitals in the community
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners to ensure consistent patient flow.
- Organize marketing efforts such as webinars, lunch-and-learns, and community events
- Monitor referral volume, marketing ROI, and patient acquisition trends.
Sales Responsibilities
- Sell patients on the value of interventional psychiatry treatments
- Serve as an account manager for each patient, managing treatment eligibility, process, scheduling benefits, risks, and alternatives throughout their entire treatment journey
Qualifications
