Job Requirements
Minimum:
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to read speak and write English
- One (1) year of experience in Labor and Delivery within an acute care setting
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (all nurses whose home unit is Maternal/Child) must obtained within six (6) months of hire
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must obtained within six (6) months of hire)
- Completion of Advanced Fetal Monitoring course every two (2) years (Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring acceptable at hire but must complete the Advanced AWHONN course within one (1) year of new assignment to Labor and Delivery) or maintain the NCC EFM certification
- STABLE certification (for all Labor and NICU nurses) must obtained within one (1) year of hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
