Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for executing various clerical and secretary functions for the Diagnostic Imaging department: answer and direct phone calls, computer entry of patient data, exam entry, registrations/reception of patients, fulfillment of film requests, patient scheduling, editing of reports, enhancing patient experience by minimizing wait times, and providing other similar tasks.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year clerical and/or receptionist experience required.
- Computer / typing skills
- Use of various office equipment including fax/copier
- Able to read, speak and write English
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office preferred
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Experience in a hospital or medical clinic preferred.
