Responsibilities
The Infusion Insurance and Prior Authorization Representative assists with referrals by determining and verifying insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources. This position completes insurance authorization and answers infusion financial questions. This position also ensures proper, adequate, and timely authorization to ensure timely services.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Required qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED required.2. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently are required.
3. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are required.
Preferred qualification:
1. Previous experience in pharmacy, infusion, or prior authorization process is preferred.
