Job Summary
Position Title: Clinical Assistant/ Foreign Medical Graduate required
Job summary: The Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients.
Responsibilities
Assist providers with day-to-day tasks, including:
Taking notes during patient consultations
Updating and maintaining accurate medical records
Monitoring and recording patients’ vital signs
Support physicians in delivering high-quality, personalized patient care
Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient visits
Travel between various divisions and sites within the New York City area as needed
Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness before and after visits
Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed
Communicate effectively with patients to provide instructions and answer basic questions
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards
Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
Report any concerns regarding patient health or safety to the appropriate provider
Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
Qualifications
- Medical Graduation (International or National) Passed portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG)
- Excellent Customer services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion to help others and ensure patients are receiving proper care
- Team player
- Clinical Knowledge
- Must be comfortable with EMR navigation- preferably e-Clinical works Computer savvy/ Excel, Adobe, Word, PowerPoint
- Graduated from a foreign medical school
$16.00-$18.00 an hour
