Position Summary:
Manage all activities of the Wellness Complexes to provide quality services and professional management in all areas of the Center while maintaining an operational budget in accordance with the goals and objectives of Cumberland Medical Center and Covenant Health.

Responsibilities
- Manage the operations and personnel of the Wellness Complexes in accordance with the organizational goals of Cumberland Medical Center in order to achieve monthly and annual financial budgets.
- Assists with budget development and budget variance review for both Wellness facilities.
- Oversee the daily management of the Complexes regarding decision-making, problem-solving and crisis management.
- Design and maintain the organizational framework of the Wellness Complexes to provide maximum support and supervision. Defines job responsibilities.
- Maintain staffing and supervisory levels at optimum efficiency to provide excellent customer service, payroll integrity, and staff support. Conduct interviews, hire, and train new employees. Monthly monitoring of departmental staffing levels for budget compliance as compared to FTE's and scheduled hours. Enter data into EPSI.
- Analyze monthly income and expense reports of the Wellness Complexes. Submit a monthly variance report to include variance amounts, causes, and solutions.
- Verify and code all non-stock requests and payroll records of the Wellness Complexes.
- Provide management supervision of direct reports, departmental staff meetings, and training of employees.
- Ensure the effective repair and maintenance of the facilities and equipment of the Wellness Complexes through walk-through inspections, communication with supervisors, and communication with maintenance, security and housekeeping employees.
- Review all safety procedures with supervisors, review all accident reports, and respond to safety needs as necessary.
- Assists with development of all marketing promotions, and coordinates community seminars as needed.
- Maintain all licenses and requirements for the Wellness Complexes as dictated through the state and county agencies. Knowledgeable of legislative policies concerning the industry.
- Foster and maintain a team concept for all employees.
- Participate in the daily, weeknight, and weekend rotation of the Manager-on-Duty schedule.
- Oversight of all business office operations including the billing and collections of membership accounts.
- Maintains the accounts receivable system for the Wellness Complexes.
- Prepares weekly reports and reconciliation documentation for accounting.
- Conducts annual performance evaluations on each staff member as well as coaching both positive and negative behaviors.
- Schedules, plans, and leads monthly department meetings.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
College graduate preferred with emphasis in management.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ business office experience required. At least 1 year of supervisory experience required. Must possesses good interpersonal skills both verbal and non-verbal. Demonstrate experience and skills in data entry, file organization, mathematical organization, and budgeting. Ability to exhibit strong positive people skills. A background in customer service is strongly preferred.
