Your Role

- Follow up on third-party claims for outpatient services, including unpaid client balances.
- Contact payor claims departments to determine claim status and resubmit paper/electronic claims as necessary.
- Collaborate with site administrators to address claim problems, denials, and appeals.
- Run and review EHR reports, including insurance-based "scrubber" reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Attend insurance-related meetings or webinars to stay informed about updates.
- Assist with special projects using Excel and communicate results effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or HiSET required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in billing or healthcare administration preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
