Responsibilities
The Quality Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program. The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities may include data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.
- Assists with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
- Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
- Assists with preparation of quarterly quality meetings.
- Assists with survey readiness and root cause analyses.
- Assists in the implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.
- Assists with medical staff quality improvement activities, including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.
- Assists the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.
- Assists with the implementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.
- Participates in employee training and education.
- Assist with employee health activities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Valid professional NJ RN License required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred
- Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness)
- Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred
