The Clinical Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and administrative support to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and the efficient operation of the nursing unit. Working collaboratively with the Unit Director and/or Manager, the Clinical Supervisor oversees daily activities, supports staff, and promotes excellence in clinical practice. In the absence of the Director or Manager, this role assumes full administrative responsibility for the unit.

Responsibilities
Provide supervision and direction for nursing and support staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient workflow.
Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental goals, policies, and performance improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and regulatory standards.
Oversee orientation, education, and ongoing training for unit staff.
Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and hospital leadership to promote collaboration and positive outcomes.
Participate in staffing, scheduling, and evaluation of personnel performance.
Perform direct patient care as needed, within the RN scope of practice.
Continuously assess patient care delivery and guide staff in making immediate adjustments to care plans when appropriate.
Support a professional practice environment that encourages growth, accountability, and teamwork.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $45.43 to $64.91. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
