This role serves as the marketing team's technical lead, responsible for creating marketing content, conducting market research, participating in website design tool development, and developing product training content.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the marketing team's technical lead and liaison
- Plan, create and review content for new product roll outs
- Support sales team initiatives by developing and reviewing content for case studies, brochures, catalogs, presentations, print and digital advertising, and social media
- Conduct market research and testing for new products, product applications, and services
- Act as the primary technical stakeholder for development and continuous improvement of website design tools and applications
- Develop and facilitate technical & product training for internal and external customers
- Assist with website content development, creating files, and testing new website features and design tools
- Maintain and update certifications and approvals
Qualifications
Required
- In-depth understanding of the steel construction industry eith a desire to teach others and influence the specification of New Millennium products
- Highly organized, self-motivated, ability to multi-task under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
- Work at New Millennium Electric Works office in Fort Wayne, IN (will consider internal candidates working from their current office)
Preferred
- In-depth understanding of the joist and deck industry
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Travel for business meetings roughly 6 times per year
