The Sr. Manager of Marketing will provide expertise and leadership in store openings, local marketing, public relations, social media, content creation, and project management. Responsibilities
Store Openings & Local Marketing
- Lead end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for new store openings, including pre-launch buzz, grand opening events, and post-launch activation
- Develop and implement localized marketing campaigns tailored to specific market demographics and community engagement opportunities. Including building relationships with local media, influencers, community organizations, and business partners to drive store awareness and foot traffic.
- Manage media relationships and secure coverage in local publications, broadcast media, and online platforms
Social Media & Digital Content
- Create engaging, on-brand content including graphics, videos, stories, and posts that drive engagement and conversions
- Manage social media calendar, community engagement, and performance analytics
- Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand messaging
Project Management Excellence
- Develop detailed project plans with clear timelines, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and success metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to meet deadlines and quality standards
Brand Standards & Quality Control
- Ensure brand integrity across all channels and touchpoints
- Identify and recommend improvements in marketing planning and creative production processes
- Champion and demonstrate commitment to company values
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in:
- Store opening campaigns and local market activation
- Public relations and media management
- Social media strategy and content creation
- Project management and cross-functional coordination
Required Skills
- Expert-level project management skills with proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar)
- Strong social media expertise across all major platforms with proven track record of engagement growth
- Excellent content creation and copywriting skills
- Experience with PR strategies, media relations, and community engagement
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
- Budget management and financial acumen
- Professional image through in-person and phone interaction
