Responsibilities
The Regional Director of Education provides leadership of activities supporting clinical practices, professional development, patient care, and clinical initiative outcomes for a designated region. Leads change efforts in areas of benchmarking, patient safety, and clinical best practices to support achievement of high-quality nursing care and patient outcomes. Provides oversight of Pathway to Excellence/Magnet designation according to the American Nurses Credentialing Center requirements. Oversees and assures compliance as a designated State Board of Nursing continuing nursing education provider.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
2. Current BLS (ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(ARC/AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
4. Minimum of 5 years as a healthcare leader.
5. Minimum of 2 years of previous educational experience preferred.
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
7. Master of Science in Nursing preferred.
8. Nurse Professional Development certification preferred
9. Must be able to travel to a variety of Prime Healthcare facilities on an as needed basis.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $89,000 to $125,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
