Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.
Position Summary
The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.
Education/Experience
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
- Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
- Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
- Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
- Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred
Licensure
- Must have a temporary license to practice or;
- Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
- Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred
- Must be working torwards full licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
