We’re seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Community Support Director (Corporate Operations Specialist) to help us uphold that standard by supporting communities through times of transition, start-ups, or acquisitions.
This role is ideal for an operational leader who thrives on variety, can quickly assess community needs, and enjoys helping teams stabilize, grow, and perform at their best.
What You’ll Do
Serve as an on-site leader at communities during Executive Director vacancies, start-ups, or transitions, providing stability, operational oversight, and coaching.
Partner with Regional Vice Presidents, Executive Directors, and Pillar Leaders to drive operational consistency and deliver an outstanding resident and employee experience.
Analyze community performance, identify process gaps, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, financial performance, and satisfaction.
Lead and support the rollout of the Operations Playbook, ensuring best practices in life enrichment, hospitality, clinical care, and facilities management.
Educate and mentor department leaders on financial performance, occupancy growth, sales strategies, and employee engagement.
Conduct site visits and audits to monitor standards, compliance, and first impressions.
Act as a key liaison between community teams and corporate leadership, sharing insights, recommendations, and progress updates.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in healthcare management, business, hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Senior Living operations, with proven leadership across multiple communities.
Demonstrated success improving occupancy, managing budgets, and building engaged teams.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of P&L management.
Exceptional communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Passion and compassion for serving older adults and supporting staff through change.
Willingness and flexibility to travel up to 100% nationally, often on extended assignments (e.g., 10 days onsite, 4 days off).
