Specific Responsibilities Would Include
Centric Brands is looking for a dynamic, creative and resourceful Demand Planning Manager to join its Lifestyle team and manage the Amazon business. This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.
The Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for the short term/long term planning by style/color/account to support capacity requirements and business strategies as well as the achievement of financial objectives. This position will be the bridge between the POS data / retailer / sales and the operations department. The net result should be increased wholesale and retail sales, greater profitability and improved inventory turns both internally and for our retail customers. In addition, the Planner will ensure timely and accurate communication of weekly, monthly, and adjusted seasonal forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop bottoms up 12-18 month rolling forecasts for Amazon at the style/color level, based on shipping history, forecasts, promotional activity etc. and adjusting forecasts on a weekly basis to accommodate changes in trend.
- Collaborate with the sales team to aggregate forecasts into comprehensive 12-month revenue and margin plans.
- Monitor actual performance against forecasts, making monthly adjustments to unit and key financial metrics based on sales insights and order updates.
- Clearly communicate variances, providing supporting details.
- Call out potential issues and/or risk of actual EDI orders versus projected orders.
- Key Partner with Sales, Finance, Merchandising, Production, Supply planning, and Amazon.
- Develop and distribute weekly reporting on total Amazon sales performance, inventory levels, and KPI's.
- Analyze key metrics specific to the Amazon business (including Ad spend, PPU, etc.), and drive action as needed.
- Collaborate with the Sales team and Amazon partners to build and align on projected Amazon sales, identify risks, opportunities, and strategies to grow a profitable business.
- Become a liaison on systems initiatives as they pertain to Demand Planning.
- Develop effective replenishment forecast models, based on demand patterns, and partner with supply planning on maintaining required service levels, with the appropriate levels of inventory.
- Participate in product reviews with sales for SKU Rationalization, minimizing long tail exposure and ensuring optimal inventory levels of the product lifecycle.
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with extensive knowledge of the Amazon business
- Wholesale/Retail replenishment experience in a seasonally driven product category
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to think both strategically and execute tactically
- Ability to partner and collaborate at all levels with multiple areas of the business
- Be able to influence others based on the analysis and forecasting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to convey point of view
- Must be proficient at creating any new reporting tools to stay ahead of our competition and accounts’ analytical expectations
- Entrepreneurial mindset and resourceful – Capable of problem solving
- Foster a collaborative, positive, results-driven work environment
- SAP experience, a plus
- Tillerman experience, a plus
- Retail planning knowledge or experience required

Salary Range: $104,000 - $120,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
