Frequently asked questions

CFG Bank Arena offers a unique experience with its state-of-the-art acoustics and upscale amenities, making ticket sales more dynamic. Compared to other venues, sellers here handle high-profile concerts and events, requiring familiarity with Ticketmaster Host & TM1 systems and delivering premium customer service in a fast-paced Baltimore environment.

Mastering Ticketmaster Host and TM1 ticketing platforms is essential. Additionally, strong communication, cash handling accuracy, and quick problem-solving will set you apart. Given Baltimore’s busy entertainment market, adaptability to fluctuating schedules and noise levels is also crucial for success.

Many ticket sellers leverage this role as a stepping stone into arena operations, event management, or customer relations. CFG Bank Arena’s affiliation with Oak View Group opens pathways to larger roles in venue management or ticket operations across a national portfolio, especially with experience in large-scale events.

Dallas Convention Center emphasizes inclusivity and diversity within its workforce, fostering innovation in service delivery. Ticket sellers here benefit from a supportive team atmosphere with ongoing training, which contrasts with more transactional environments found elsewhere in Baltimore’s event staffing landscape.

Beyond standard ticket sales, the position involves managing will call services, handling cash transactions precisely, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of events and ticketing software. This comprehensive role ensures sellers gain multifaceted experience in arena ticket operations unique to Dallas Convention Center’s event lineup.

Baltimore’s vibrant entertainment scene drives steady demand for part-time ticket sellers, with CFG Bank Arena as a top venue attracting many applicants. However, competition is balanced by the arena’s ongoing hiring and emphasis on customer service skills, making it accessible for candidates with relevant experience.

At CFG Bank Arena, ticket sellers earn $19 per hour, which aligns with or slightly exceeds Baltimore’s average for similar roles. This competitive pay reflects the venue’s premium status and the need for proficiency in specialized ticketing systems like Ticketmaster Host and TM1.

CFG Bank Arena benefits from a central Baltimore location with multiple public transit options and ample parking. Commuting from downtown or adjacent areas is generally convenient, though peak event days may require additional travel time due to increased traffic and pedestrian flow.

While no formal certifications are mandated, familiarity with Ticketmaster systems and customer service training can boost employability. Local hospitality or event management courses in Baltimore may also enhance skills relevant to fast-paced ticketing environments at CFG Bank Arena.
