Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Nutritionist to work closely with clients to develop healthy eating habits. Our nutritionist will collaborate with an expert medical team and exercise physiologists to develop appropriate nutritional care plans based on extensive and comprehensive evaluation of our patients medical risk factors and current health.
Responsibilities
Counsel patients on any dietary issues and healthy eating habits, provide individual nutritional assessment and counseling.
Develop nutrition plans while considering the client’s budget and tastes.
Create a detailed nutrition plan and provide follow up support to patients.
Assess clients’ nutritional and health needs
Evaluate if the meal plans have a positive effect on clients’ health
Develops educational plan that takes into consideration individualized nutrition status, educational level, readiness to learn and barriers.
Read and contribute to the latest nutritional research
Speak to groups about the importance of nutrition to prevent specific diseases
Document patient progress while adhering to HIPPA guidelines regarding confidentiality of medical information.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree, Master's preferred, in Nutrition and you must be a Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
Minimum of 2+ years experience, preferably in an outpatient setting
Must have excellent writing and word processing skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Diet Analysis software programs
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Salary: $70,000-$100,000
