Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking fulltime Registered Dietitian II at Ocala Regional Medical Center, a multi-site acute care hospital in Ocala, Florida. Ocala Regional Medical Center is a 256 licensed bed facility and the sister hospital is West Marion Community Hospital with 172 licensed beds. The hospitals are located 5 miles apart and there will be times that the dietitians work at both campuses in Ocala, FL. The hospital has service lines such as trauma, cardiac, neurology, orthopedic, comprehensive stroke, and a large critical care population.

What You'll Do
- cover hospital wide including medical/surgical floors and ICU;
- interact with clinical team and other hospital departments to achieve team approach;
- will work every 4th Saturday
- participate in quality improvement projects within the department; and
- act as a mentor to dietetic interns.

What You Bring
- must be a Registered Dietitian with 3-5 years experience;
- Be responsible for neuro, med/surg units and other units as assigned
- Have strong communication skills and work very closely with an interdisciplinary team.
- Be self directed, flexible and a team player with excellent time management skills.
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;
- Work weekend and holiday rotations
- Mentor to dietetic interns.
- Licensure in Florida required

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
