Position Summary
The Catering Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service during catered events. This role involves setting up, serving, and cleaning up after events, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Catering Attendant will work closely with the catering team to deliver a seamless dining experience, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and food stations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the catering area during and after the event.
- Monitor food quality and replenish items as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Address guest inquiries and accommodate special requests when possible.
- Break down and clean up the event space, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the catering manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
