Under the direction of the healthcare provider, you'll play a critical role in patient safety and well-being, performing vital preliminary tests and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
You will:
- Patient Intake & Vitals: Greet/prepare patients; obtain/record vital signs (BP, temp, pulse, resp, height, weight, allergies, meds, presenting problem).
- Diagnostic Support: Perform routine tests (e.g., EKGs).
- Medication & Vaccine Admin: Administer ordered medications/vaccines (oral, injection, topical, etc.).
- Specimen Collection (May be required): Draw/collect blood samples; prepare specimens for lab analysis.
- Scheduling & Communication: Schedule diagnostic testing and follow up; communicate test results and plan of care to patients.
- Room & Equipment Prep: Clean/sterilize instruments; maintain equipment; stock/clean exam rooms; dispose of contaminated items.
- Documentation: Document patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in medical record.
Non Certified MA: $19.25 - 26.78
Certified MA: $22.51-31.79

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:

- Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED.
- Required Licensure and Certifications:
- AHA BLS certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant and/or Medical Assistant experience.
