Be a part of the pre-opening team for the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel!
Opening Fall 2025, the Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
To ensure That the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, hallways, back of house and landing meets Omni 4 Star/4 Diamond standards.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
- Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
- Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
- Works in coordinator capacity as needed.
- Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
- Assists in training all new housekeeping staff.
- Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
- Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
- Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
- Ensures that the GRA's cart is neat and well organized.
- Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
- Maintain supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.
- Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone and or electronic device after completion.
- Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
- Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected ASAP.
- Ensure check out rooms are a priority.
- Knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
- To ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous supervisory experience in housekeeping and/or other relevant hotel experience required.
- Able to maintain a Diamond level cleanliness standard.
- Able to work with management on special projects.
- Able to set priorities for your section.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sense of urgency.
- Fast paced.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs.
TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:
- Telephone, mobile device, push to talk radio, cart, vacuum, mop and broom, duster and chemicals.
