Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. This is a 900+ bed academic medical center located in central North Carolina, and is the flagship hospital of UNC Healthcare. This will oversee day shift (6:30am start time) and will manage a fast-paced, patient-centered environment with direct supervision over a team of 25 in housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have a track record of proven leadership skills, and the ability to coach, develop, and lead a group of highly-skilled employees. This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement.
Looking for a manager who is ambitious and willing to learn Sodexo systems and procedures. Successful candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, or military service, and excellent customer service skills.
Incentives
5K bonus (2500 spot bonus/ 2500 retention bonus after 6 months)What You'll Do
- be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
- provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
- lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives;
- effectively manage the Unit Operating System; and/or
- support an inclusive workforce.
