What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating in-service programs as well as orientation for new staff members. Provide expertise and education for staff and oversee quality initiatives, also establish educational policies and procedures; act as a resource to staff and management while participating in Process Improvement activities. In this position you will also serve on special nursing and hospital wide committees.
What We're Looking For
Half-time, Varied shift. Varied based on the needs of the department. .
- Current NJ Registered Nurse Licensure. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Education or Advance Practice Acute Care Nursing; MSN preferred. BLS, ACLS, and Staff Development certification.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience; 5-7 years preferred. Previous experience as Clinical Nurse Specialist, Educator or Advanced Practice Nurse and management or leadership experience preferred.
- Excellent communicator with engaging and effective presentation abilities. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of standards and regulations related to staff development and patient education.
