Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a Physician, assists with electrophysiology, cardiac ablation and cardiac catheterization procedures through venous/arterial access and catheter placement. Manages inventory/par levels, assists materials with ordering of supplies, generates requested reports and coordinates EP education and training for all new EP staff.
Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Three years of experience within an EP Laboratory that performs EP studies, lablations, mapping, device implant, scrubs all cases and independently uses associated equipment.
- One year experience concurrently within an interventional Cath Lab required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- AART;CT CPRBLS
Preferred
- Three years within a Cardiac Cath Lab as a scrub tech.
- Capable of scrubbing and diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral cases.
