Position Summary
Under general supervision of the Manager of Grounds, Sports Turf Supervisor, the Grounds Crew will assist in the overall field maintenance including all playing surfaces, and stadium grounds. This is part time, year-round position.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00-$20.00

About the Venue
Snapdragon Stadium is a 35,000-seat multipurpose venue that will serve as the home for San Diego State University football, San Diego Wave (NWSL soccer), San Diego F.C (MLS), major concerts and festivals, professional sports, motorsports, NCAA and world championships, international soccer, high school sports, entertainment events and private special events.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the field preparation for Concerts, Events, Soccer, San Diego State Football, and other College Athletics.
- Organization and cleanliness of the grounds shop.
- Be available for all Painting days.
- Preparation for games and other stadium events.
- Field cleanup and repair following games.
- Operation of grounds equipment.
- Set up and removal of grow and rain tarps.
- Ability to use focus on a speaker using verbal and non-verbal clues to understand their message, comprehend the information and respond thoughtfully.
- Creative and innovative; the ability to see alternatives and solutions.
- Ability to achieve planned objectives through completing relevant tasks and focus.
- Ability to work potential overnight field conversions and concerts.
