Responsibilities
Emergency Medical Technician is responsible for the assessment and basic management of medical, trauma and environmental emergencies under the supervision of the staff nurse and / or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the ER Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Basic EMT Training or E.R. experience preferred.
2. EMT, Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification required upon hire and maintain active.
3. BCLS on hire and maintain current.
4. Training on Violence in the Workplace prevention within 6 months of hire.
