Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services
- Support the tire maintenance program
- Perform service calls
- Wash and fuel equipment
- Perform other maintenance duties or assignments
- Provide assistance to senior technicians
- Lead the care and upkeep of the Maintenance Shop, grounds and all equipment and tools
- Maintain a clean, safe environment that complies with DOT, EPA, OSHA and Company standards
- Be proficient in paperwork and record keeping
- In conjunction with the Parts Department, assure that all necessary materials, parts, service/shop supplies are maintained at proper quantity levels
- Effectively handle special assignments as directed
- Able to maintain a quality hand tool inventory
- Skills to communicate professionally with operations and/or operators
- Able to participate at a high level of teamwork
