Overview
Poly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films.
Responsibilities
Forklift Drivers at Poly-America are responsible for safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading finished product. Drivers at Poly-America regularly use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.Forklift Drivers work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week
Qualifications
- At least six months of recent experience operating a forklift.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
- The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.
