A Blue Rhino Forklift Operator is to inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position offers an in-house OSHA certified training.

Responsibilities
- Transports propane cylinders safely around the yard with forklift.
- Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines
- Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed
- Completes and submits log sheets, BOL’s, packing slips and other paperwork as required.
- Documents forklift inspection before shift start up for mechanical safely and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Inspects vehicle regularly and notifies supervisor maintenance is needed.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting production shifts with other staffing needs when not operating forklift.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, understand and pass any necessary training requirements and exams
- 1+ years' of work experience, preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions
- Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
