Job Overview
Shriners Children’s Northern California is looking for a full-time Chief of Staff to lead the orthopedics team. Candidates can expect to receive an annual salary between $756,288-$1,067,700. Shriners Children’s offers a competitive benefits package, including:

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Shriners clinical, educational, and research programs as well as management of physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, and others.
- Fulfill the mission of excellence in patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings and in the operating room
- Fulfill the mission of excellence in research by performing scholarly clinical and/or translational research, presenting and publishing research findings, and obtaining extramural funding for research
- Fulfill the mission of excellence in education by supervising and teaching students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role
- Associate professor or above
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
- Must have successfully completed an ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency program
- Must have completed relevant fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics
- Must be board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) or in possession of Subspecialty Certification (SC) if appropriate
- Must possess or be eligible for California state medical license
- Extensive experience with pediatric orthopedics, particularly spine and/or limb deformity
- Experience with research
