Job Overview

Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking an exceptional, board-certified Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology to build and lead our anesthesia department and drive clinical innovation in pediatric burn and reconstructive care.

Responsibilities

As Chief of Anesthesia, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership and develop a comprehensive pediatric anesthesiology program
  • Oversee clinical operations, quality improvement, and interdepartmental collaboration
  • Develop and implement advanced regional and acute pain protocols
  • Contribute to cutting-edge clinical research in pediatric anesthesiology

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia, along with Pediatric Anesthesia board Certification (or eligibility) and board Certification in Anesthesiology.
  • Must possess or be eligible for OH medical license
  • Must possess or be eligible for DEA license
  • Must be BLS, ACLS and PALS certified
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric medical setting
  • Exceptional clinical skills with a proven track record of patient care excellence
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop medical teams
