Job Summary and Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Medical Center health care philosophy, the Registered Nurse directs, supervises, delivers and evaluates patient care through the use of the nursing process. Maintains the standards of nursing care and practices consistent with the policies and procedures of the
hospital and the Nursing Dept. Provides care primarily to the adult and geriatric populations, however, may care for selected pediatric patients as required. In addition to these major responsibilities, the Registered Nurse may be assigned other duties.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently licensed by the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification can be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- Current PALS certification can be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
- Nursing Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of Patient Care
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
