Job Summary and Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other health care team members. The incumbent, as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- One year recent critical care or emergency department experience (may consider training if current staff skillset and experience allows)
- Associates Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Working knowledge of basic dysrhythmia
- Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
- Licensed or eligible for licensing in State as a Registered Nurse
- BLS and ACLS certifications (from an AHA designated trainer)
- PALS certification (or must obtain this certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into position)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent working experience in a critical care and/or emergency department
- Advanced dysrhythmia interpretation
- CCRN, ENPC, ERN, FRN, MICN or TNCC certifications
