Position: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Center Manager
Location: 17331 E. 40 Highway, Independence, Missouri 64055
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
Incentives: $10,000 sign-on bonus and/or $350 per month in uncapped student debt relief
Our outpatient orthopedic physical therapy center is looking for a passionate and driven licensed physical therapist to lead and provide exceptional patient care experiences as a treating manager. This position will oversee our highly trained and respected outpatient orthopedic therapy team providing preventative and rehab services that maximize functionality and promote the well-being of our patients.
We are located 15 minutes East of Downtown Kansas City. The site is conveniently located near the intersection of I-70 and I-470. It services the population of Eastern Jackson County, drawing its population from Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs, Raytown and Kansas City. This location currently has 1 full time OT and 1 full time PT. The case load for the center is very broad. It encompasses General Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Dry Needling, Vestibular/Concussion, Oncology, Work Conditioning and FCEs. With all of those programs, there is always room for growth so by utilizing the Education Department within Select Medical other programs can be developed.

- Assume responsibility of our center and uphold executive decisions
- Utilize our local community network to partner with physicians, employers, payors and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Help grow and manage our center’s physician relationships and patient portfolios
- Expand and develop a team of talented PTs and physical therapist assistants (PTAs)
- Partner with philanthropic programs and events to give back to the community
- Participate in industry-leading continuing education opportunities
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid State Physical Therapist License is required to start
- CPR Certification
