Clinical Nurse – Community Hospital of San Bernardino

As a Clinical Nurse I, you will serve as a key member of the care team, using critical thinking and the nursing process to support patient recovery and well-being. This role allows you to practice at the top of your license while building strong interdisciplinary collaboration and delivering meaningful, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Complete assessments, care planning, and discharge coordination in line with hospital policy and patient needs
- Identify psychosocial, cultural, and learning needs and implement age-appropriate interventions
- Respond to urgent and complex clinical situations with competence and composure
- Administer medications, manage documentation, and monitor patient progress across the continuum of care
- Teach patients and families about conditions, recovery, and self-care following discharge
- Function in a charge nurse capacity as needed, supporting team workflow and quality standards
- Participate in quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional development initiatives\

Job Requirements
- 1 year of NICU experience in an acute care hospital required.
- California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- AHA-Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification,
- AHA-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required.
