Job Summary and Responsibilities
RN Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the daily operations and clinical coordination of both primary care and specialty care services. You’ll provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of Medical Assistants and back-office clinical staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence in patient care
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and mentoring registered nurses and support staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Ensuring optimal patient flow and efficient utilization of resources to meet the demand for services.
- Addressing patient care or service problems promptly and effectively.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Managing staffing schedules and ensuring adequate coverage to meet patient needs.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve the efficiency of the center.
Required:
- This position requires current licensure as a registered nurse plus one years' increasingly responsible health care operations experience.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize the demands of daily operations and organize resourcesrequired.
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills, active listening skills andconflict mediation ability.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and build effective teams also required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
- Current RN Supervisory experience and or Charge RN experience is strongly preferred.
