Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a full-time Pediatric Outpatient Registered Dietitian at Wellstar Children's Hospital of Georgia, located in Augusta, GA. This 145-bed teaching hospital is home to a level II Trauma Center, a Level IV NICU, and the only Level I PICU outside of Atlanta. Registered Dietitians are valued members of the pediatric team and have order-writing privileges.

What You'll Do
- Provide nutritional care for patients with inborn errors of metabolism, many on nutrition support
- Support other outpatient pediatric clinics
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounding
- Work closely with the Geneticist MD and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Provide education to parents/guardians of patients
- Educate health care team members, including residents, physicians, and nurses
- Precept dietetic interns

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
