Position Summary
Under direct supervision from the Security Supervisor, the part-time Registered Nurse position provides basic level emergency and non-emergency care to the ill and injured, to include assessment of illness and/or injury, management of such patients, preparation for transport, transfer of information, and patient care.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $38.00-$40.00
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.
About the Venue
Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Providence, the Rhode Island Convention Center (RICC) is within walking distance to restaurants, hotels, shops, art galleries, nightclubs, museums and more. We offer 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, 20,000 square feet of ballroom space, 23 meeting rooms, and 30,000 square feet of pre-function space.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic life support treatment of patients
- Provide CPR all within the R.N scope of practice
- Thorough knowledge of R.N procedures and ability to integrate knowledge and performance into practical situations
- Interact professionally with guest, staff and other health care personnel
- Interact professionally with disabled, disadvantaged, sick and injured persons
- Work as part of a team
- Accurately and completely document information required
- Give report verbally or in writing to manager
- Clean the equipment, check and replace the used and damaged supplies
- Compliance with all company and local agency policies, procedures, and applicable protocols for emergency treatment
- Maintain a clean appearance, demonstrating courteous and ethical behavior
- Maintain high degree of visibility and professionalism; respond to various situations, issues and requests for assistance; prepare incident reports in accordance with departmental standards

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of one (1) year of R.N experience
- Must pass required background and drug screening
- High school diploma, or equivalent GED
- Possession of a CPR and First Aid certificate
- Possession of, valid, up to date Rhode Island Registered Nurse License
