Sign-on Bonus: $15,000.00
Landmark Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The RN is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role provides direct patient care, guides and educates patients and their families, and supervises nursing personnel while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing scope of practice and hospital policies.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, including hemodynamic status, and respond quickly and accurately to changes.
Communicate effectively with physicians regarding clinical changes, diagnostic results, and patient responses to treatment.
Provide patient and family education, ensuring understanding of care plans and procedures.
Direct, guide, and support nursing staff in daily activities, promoting a collaborative team environment.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow established standards of care.
Qualifications
1. Current and valid state RN License.2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred. 4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current. 6. Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred. 8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
