Position Summary
A ticket taker is a vital member of the Arena staff as they are involved in direct contact with the public. As a representative of the CFG Bank Arena, a friendly greeting attached to a smiling face goes a long way in helping our guests enjoy their visit. Providing top notch customer service is your responsibility. Our ushers will be essential in creating a safe and memorable experience for all guests at CFG Bank Arena. This position is ideal for candidates who want to immerse themselves in an exciting, entertainment environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Possess a positive attitude and facilitate teamwork and respect among co-workers
- Welcome guests, provide directions and answer any questions that may arise.
- Provide assistance to patrons with special needs or wheelchair access
- Enforce building policies and event procedures
- Assist and direct guests in a variety of situations including emergencies.
- Direct to guest services
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain patient and calm under pressure
- Ability to stay organized
- Ability to use ticketing systems
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

- 70% event availability commitment. Event requirement is subject to change with notice
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience in a customer service-based industry is preferred
- Previous experience within a sports, entertainment, or related field is preferred
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
- Extensive time spent with moderate to loud noises.
- Fluctuating temperatures to include hot and cold conditions - external and internal facility exposure
- Exposure to flashing lights
- Arrive at work in appropriate furnished uniform, refrain from cellphone use in public spaces while on post and remaining on post until dismissed or relieved.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting personal schedules and extending hours to meet event staffing needs, including securing reliable transportation to and from the arena during non-traditional business hours.
