Role Overview
Sodexo Education is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to assist with managing a food and nutrition program for Life Schools, a K-12 charter school system that has campuses throughout the Dallas area.
Sodexo currently serves breakfast and lunch to approximately 5,000 students daily. The selected candidate will oversee food production and menu/recipe development for the district, while also providing culinary training to our kitchen employee's. Food production takes place in a centralized kitchen,our Executive Chef will oversee daily operations and distribution to 7 campuses. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual that is able to create culinary promotions to further increase student meal purchases. Previous experience in a K-12 environment is preferred but not required.

- Implement & coordinate the culinary function.
- Direct & train cooks & utility workers.
- Ensure food preparation & production meets operational standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Manage food and labor costs.
- Manage food & physical safety programs.
