Responsibilities
The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification
2. Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card
3. Current and valid AHA ACLS card
4. Current and valid AHA PALS card 5. Valid Driver’s License
6. CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period
7. Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred
8. Good driving record

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.00 to $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
