Position Summary
Sustainability Crew Members will report directly to the Operations Manager. This position will support the Operations department in its endeavors to implement sustainable practices within the venue on dark days and event days.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $19.00.
For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities
- Assist with every day and post-event sorting process of all recyclables, compostables, and landfill materials.
- Receptacles inspect and ensure all materials are handled properly and sorted into their correct receptacles; pulling incorrectly sorted materials if needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by ensuring the Sustainability Center is properly and thoroughly sanitized and kept in an orderly state before, during, and after shifts.
- Adhere to standard operating and safety procedures while operating and maintaining all equipment within Sustainability Center.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, bend, push, reach, and lift upwards of 50lbs of materials during sorting process.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.
- Must have an acute attention to detail and ability to abide by all rules and safety precautions.
