Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center is the South Metro area’s full-service medical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital and the skill and services of a much larger medical center. Among our specialties: stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, cancer care and orthopedic and total joint surgery. Plus, a birth center and breast health center.
Responsibilities
Performs imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment regarding exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment. Proficient in the field of MRI.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program or graduate of a certified Allied Health Imaging program.
Experience:
One-year previous experience in the field of MRI preferred. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Licensure
Licensure/Certification:
ARRT certification in Radiography, or ARRT certification in MRI required.
If not MRI-certified at time of hire, ARRT certification in MRI, or ARMRIT certification in MRI required within six months. In Oregon, a Temporary Post-Primary License is available for individuals licensed ARRT in Radiography. The Temporary Post-Primary MRI License, if required, must be secured prior to appointment to the MRI Technologist position.
Current state license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon. Current state license in Magnetic Resonance Imaging required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Washington.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification.
Pay Range
