Job Overview

We currently have an opening for a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join our Portland, OR team. Radiologic technologists are medical personnel who perform imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a professional manner.

*We are a high-volume, fast-paced pediatric orthopedic hospital committed to providing the highest standard of care to children and their families. We are currently seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our compassionate and skilled team.*

Schedule: Full-time or Part-Time  

The pay range for this position is $33.39-$50.08/ hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and departmental equity. 

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff in a fast-paced setting
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, compliance, and patient satisfaction
  • Responsible for a correctively positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced
  • Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury
  • Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events
  • Maintains on going- plan for personal growth and self-development

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
  • Oregon state license (OBMI)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

  • 1 year experience in pediatric/orthopedic radiology
