S:US Is seeking a Receptionist for their Home Base short term homeless prevention program.
This position is located at West 181st (St. Nicholas Ave) New York, NY 10033
The Receptionist ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the clerical and support services of the program.
Essential Job Functions:
- Greet visitors politely, efficiently, and in a courteous manner
- Answer telephone, screen, route calls and take messages
- Draft entry and correspondence maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain organized files for applications and writing samples
- Route incoming and outgoing mail from and between floors
- Assist with copying and faxing documents
- Preparation of and processing packages
- Schedule interviews with prospective applicants
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
Experience Requirements:
- Customer Service
- Basic Computer Knowledge
- Professional Presentation
