Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking our Construction Project Manager to join our team at University of Tampa in Florida. Three years of experience in Construction Project Manager title specifically, required. Budgeted Salary is $75,000-$95,000. Our successful candidate will understand the RFP process, budgeting, scope of work, time management, and will have demonstrated history of a strong construction background. This role will take projects from bid to finished project and be responsible for billing, invoicing and working with architects, engineers, subcontractors on successful projects. Our leader will organize and direct construction personnel and ensures that materials and equipment resources are delivered on time, interact with planning commissions and governing bodies, coordinate costing estimation, contract negotiation and remodeling activities, and manages professional employees and supervisors. Budgeted Salary is $75,000-$95,000What You'll Do
- Evaluate contractual scope of work and impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and scheduling changes
- Ensure engineering and commissioning performed by the field team is in accordance with established standards
- Analyze construction budget reporting systems and project schedules to pro-actively address potential problems
- Develop and maintains viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors and subcontractors
- Perform cost estimates, prepare proposals and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance
- Manage the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assigned
- Ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements and Sodexo standards
- Oversee project construction for compliance with specifications, local codes and installation techniques
- Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to management as required
- Develop cost estimates and sub-contractor scope documents and solicitations for bids
- Acts as the primary onsite project leader for execution teams on assigned projects
- Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects
- Communicate positive and realistic expectations to the project team and client
- Manage risks and establishes project recovery plans when required

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- General Contractor or other licensure and credentialing is a plus
- Demonstrated high level of verbal and written communication skills is a must
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Construction experience in food service and university environments is required by the client
- Minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry
- Construction project management experience with new construction, renovations, infrastructure renewals
- Experience coordinating contractors, stakeholders, consultants and associated project teams is a must
- Advanced working knowledge of project scheduling and documentation techniques and processes
- Proficiency in Project Management software, and financial accounting systems is a plus
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project, PlanGrid, and Smartsheet
- Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
- Ability to effectively communicate with C Suite level clients
