Job Overview
The Pharmacy Technician will provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team.
This position is per diem, non-exempt, and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $31.11 - $43.92/hour. Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administration
- Performs a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies andmedications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areas
- Performs a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient’s quality of care
- Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the PharmaceuticalServices Department

Required:
- Pharmacy Technician licensure
Preferred:
- 2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience
- 1+ years IV compounding experience
